"Wizard" was originally released as a benefit for Legal Services of Northern California in appreciation for their work on behalf of the unhoused population of Chico, CA. The song uses allegory to describe a very real situation, in which homeless camps are raided by police and city workers, who roust campers, destroy their property and force them to move to ever more crowded and isolated camps across the city. While people of conscience have been protesting and working to stop these senseless sweeps, only LSNC was able to summon the legal wizardry to, at least temporarily, stop the city from harassing and traumatizing their most vulnerable citizens. Thanks LSNC for your righteous service! As another wizard once said, "It is the small, everyday deeds of ordinary folk who keep the darkness at bay."

To a nightmare he woke from his lair in the woods
An army of orcs and their crushing machines
He began working spells but his magic was weak
14 moons on the streets left him frail in physique and half dead

Adrenaline stirring
The beast that's inside of us all
